Chiesa Nuova

 A seventeenth century baroque church, built on the supposed site of the house of the family of St Francis between 1615 and 1621 with funding provided by Philip III of Spain. It is octagonal in design, with four chapels and a presbytery.

Cappella di Sant Antonio

A staircase from one of the chapels leads down the what is supposed to be the remains of the house; the attractive artwork below right is on the way.  The room below is presumed to have been a workshop or warehouse; it is now an oratory.
